For this renovation and upgrade of the track and track and field competition area of the People's Stadium, IAAF-certified Baimisheng prefabricated rubber membrane was selected to benchmark international competition standards and create a first-class competition venue.

Baimisheng's high quality helped the People's Stadium track to complete the upgrade, and passed the Chinese Athletics Association's venue acceptance at one time. It has become the first national track and field Category I venue in Harbin and the second national track and field Category I venue in Heilongjiang Province.
